This logo animation was made for the German company CPP Studios GmbH.
The robots were taken from Cube Factory and some “shopping cart” wheels were added, so that they could move around.
Each robot is entirely automized and only two nulls needed to be animated by hand: one for the position of the robot and one for the position of its arm. Everything else was controlled by constraints, linked parameters and expressions. Softimage|3D was used for the falling letters, everything else was done in XSI.
This logo animation won the second prize at the Animago Award 2002 in the category “Professional Logo Animation”.
